"Sometimes we were fortunate enough to have a French harp on which we played the fox and the hounds and imitated railroad trains - harmonica masterpieces."

Sitat W.C. Handy "who used to make rhythms by scraping a nail across the jawbone of a dead horse and experimented with the sound effects of broom handles, fine tooth combs, and teeth rattling with the thumb of our right hand on our goozle or Adams apple, yelling at the time:
Wen down the river
Couldnt get across
Paid five dollars for an old gray horse

----the Devils Music -Giles Oakley

Snapp! Back in bizznizz! Slapp av, meir gospel neste gang. Vi er vel ikkje heilt ferdig endå?

Bo Diddley

Now, here's the story behind this clip. Bo was supposed to do the Tennessee Ernie Ford song "Sixteen Tons." However, he really wanted to perform his own signature song "Bo Diddley." So, instead of arguing with Ed Sullivan, they just went ahead and opened up with the drums, "bum bum bum bum-bum, bum bum," and did what they did best. If you notice, Jerome Green on the maracas keeps glancing stage right. That's because Mr Sullivan was standing there glaring at them. After the performance, Ed Sullivan told Bo that no "colored boy" had ever screwed him over like that, and that Bo would never appear on the Ed Sullivan Show again. - Uri DeYoung

Starta vel med at eg svinga innom utelukkande for å sjekke ut korleis John Belushi høyres ut på trommer i 1965. Veikt presentert er vel oppsummerande nok. Men liker låta.
